Advocates for tighter gun control are up in arms over yet another shooting that has left three people dead in the state of Colorado.
According to police, Scott Ostrem, 47, strolled into a Walmart located just north of Denver, opened fire into a group of people and casually left the store without saying a word.
He was seen getting into a red Mitsubishi Mirage upon exiting the store, and police were able to track him down and took him into custody early this morning.
According to police spokesman Victor Avila, two male victims were pronounced dead at the scene and one woman died in hospital.
This shooting is just the latest in a string of shootings across the country that have lead to the ongoing war of words when it comes to gun control.
In the United States, civilians own more guns per person than any other country in the world, a fact that many believe is their God given right thanks to the country’s Second Amendment.
