Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office searching for missing 78-year-old man suffering from memory loss

Jacksonville, Florida – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office has launched a search for a missing endangered adult, Gene L. Stein, in the Westside area of the city.

The 78-year-old man was reported missing on Friday, Dec. 8, at 7:00 a.m. Mr. Stein, who has been exhibiting signs of memory loss, is believed to be driving a White 2015 Dodge Dart with a Florida license plate ‘NVU D89.’

Due to his age and health, authorities are concerned for his safety. Mr. Stein is described as a white male, 5’7” in height, weighing 175 lbs., with blue eyes and gray hair, last seen wearing a gray sweatsuit.

Anyone with information that could lead to Mr. Stein’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office at 904-630-0500 or dial 911.
