The nail artist has been doing pressure manicures throughout the pandemic to match her favorite face masks, and we’re obsessed.
With heavy government-mandated pandemic measures at many COVID-19 hotspots, including mandatory salon closures, the condition of many of our nails has once again landed completely in our own hands. A scroll through famous nail artist and KISS Nails ambassador, Gina Edwards Instagram page And we’re sure you’ll be convinced that, with more weeks at home inevitably to come, this age of social distancing is the best time to embrace push nails and practice your nail art skills.
Since spring, the coveted editorial manicurist has been blessing our feed with whimsical sticky nails that she’s been coordinating with her face coverings, and they’ve been a very welcome source of joy during the pandemic. So when we got a chance to catch up with Edwards virtually, we had to ask her about the reference items in her quarantine nail kit and the nail look we’ll probably see her rock this holiday season. Read on to find out what she shared.
The most prized possessions in your nail kit right now:
“The number one tool that I couldn’t bear not having at home is a nail clipper. When my nails are too big and unkempt, this is a lifesaver. Then the follow-up to my stubborn nails is KISS hand and foot masks, especially since we wash our hands so often. “
Favorite snap nails during quarantine:
“As an artist, I find myself creating new styles and the best product to do that is Gel Fantasy or Salon Acrylic Naturals from KISS. They are an open canvas and I can paint on top of my nails with ease. “
Her holiday-ready nail look:
“A shiny nail always feels glamorous and festive. You can use polish or a KISS sticky nail that takes less than 3 minutes to apply. “
