Silver Alert issued for missing 77-year-old in Hernando County suffering from dementia

Masaryktown, Florida – Hernando County Sheriff’s Office has issued a Silver Alert for Hector Moran, a 77-year-old man who has gone missing. According to a news release from the sheriff’s office, Moran was last seen leaving his home in Masaryktown, specifically in the area of Broad Street, just after midnight on Thursday.

Moran is suffering from early-onset dementia and has a history of seizures. He is described as being 5 feet tall, weighing around 120 pounds, with brown eyes and white hair.

He was last seen driving a 2002 Toyota Sienna van. However, the van had no tag attached, which could make locating him more challenging.

Anyone with information regarding Moran’s whereabouts is urged to contact authorities to help in his safe return.
